The School Education Group, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Manager in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities:

* Provide coaching and training that proactively address employee relation issues, legal issues, recruitment processes, including interview training, performance management, and civil treatment programs. Results will provide leaders with skills necessary to develop employees at all levels.
* Provide development activities that will enhance their professional development. Assist in the management and execution of business continuity plans.
* Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure the company is sourcing and hiring highly qualified, diverse candidates and to gain efficiencies with available internal/external resources.
* Assist in evaluation and execution of effective rewards & recognition programs through participation in salary surveys, administering compensation programs.


Required:

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field; Masters preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years progressive human resources experience.

* Demonstrated business consulting and problem resolution skills.
* A minimum of 2 years recruitment and/or staffing experience in a professional fast paced environment. Industry experience preferred.
* Knowledge of employment law, corporate recruitment processes, and recruitment strategies.
* Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
* Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills essential.
* Must be proficient at web-based research and PC skills, including all Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to be a strong team player.
* Must be able to think strategically.
* Understanding of human resource law and regulation.
* Ability to travel approximately 15%.

Senior Financial Analyst opportunities exist within our company's brands: Victoria's Secret (Victoria's Secret Stores, Catalog, Beauty and PINK) and Bath & Body Works (Stores, BBW Direct, and C.O. Positions also exist within Limited Brands Headquarters, as well as within several operational business units: Information Technology, Real Estate, Logistics, and Production.

Senior Financial Analysts at Limited Brands are involved in a wide range of challenging and interesting assignments that are a critical key to the success of the enterprise. Senior Financial Analysts play significant roles in initiatives that typically involve cross-functional teams, exposure to senior finance leaders and other functions, as well as general management. Senior Financial Analysts at Limited Brands are engaged in the following projects and activities:

  • Analysis of business unit profit and loss statements -- enhance quality of management decision making by identifying drivers of performance and opportunities for performance improvement

  • Analysis of merchandise performance -- assist merchants by identifying sales and margin trends across merchandise categories, price points and store locations

  • Analysis of economics related to business initiatives -- for example, determine NPV and economic sensitivities related to opening of new stores

  • Formulation of analysis to assess business opportunities -- for example, create analytical framework to assess alternatives for adding capacity to distribution centers

  • Interpretation of budgets and forecasts -- engage in analysis and dialogue to allocate financial and human resources to activities that have the greatest business impact

  • Development of annual and long-range plans -- link business strategy to operational plans and expected range of financial outcomes

  • Provide financial and analytical support for initiatives including event monitoring and reporting and post event analysis

Qualifications:

  • MBA with focus in Finance is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or other analytically oriented major is beneficial.

  • 3 to 5 years of financial analysis experience is required. Financial analysis experience within the retail or consumer goods industries is beneficial.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required. The ability to formulate analysis is as important as the ability to execute analysis.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, dynamic team oriented environment is important

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are important
    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint are important
