Monthly Workshops
LOT workshops are held monthly on the fourth Saturday of each month from September through May. Invited speakers present and conduct workshops on various education and career-related topics.
Field Trips
Field Trips Leaders visit local corporations as well as partner with other youth within the city for field trips, to participate in community service activities, and to gain exposure to social and cultural differences.
NBMBAA Annual Conference
Select Leaders will receive subsidized expenses for a trip to the National Black MBA National Conference, the largest annual gathering of black business professionals in the world. These Leaders will attend business and entrepreneurship workshops with other leaders from the other 43 NBMBAA chapters across the country.
Scholarships/ Internships
The pursuit of a college degree is an expensive venture. However, through the participation in LOT there are opportunities for the leaders to earn scholarships such as with our annual case competition where the Leaders analyze and present a business case. The Columbus chapter placed first in the case competition in 2008 and earned a scholarship award for the team.
