The National Black MBA Association, Incorporated is a national organization that has an extensive network of 39 local chapters found in most major U.S. cities.

In addition, the National Black MBA Association, Inc. offers:

bullet More than 5,000 business contacts through its national membership. Local networking through its 39 chapters.
 
bullet Visibility and dialogue with major corporations.
 
bullet A newly instituted Member Employee Network which will allow members in the organization access to hundreds of corporate opportunities throughout the United States.
 
bullet A national newsletter providing news of National Black MBA Association, Inc. members and events.
 
bullet Scholarships and special programs for undergraduate and graduate business students.
 
bullet An annual five-day national conference, case competition, and career fair & exposition. Also during the conference, African-American leaders, entrepreneurs and students attend panels and workshops covering critical business issues, employment trends, global trends, economic policy and a host of other topics impacting African Americans.
 
bullet Our career fair, which has been noted one of the world’s largest, consists of over 350 companies exhibiting career information and interviewing competitive candidates for executive and/or managerial positions.

Membership Criteria:

The National Black MBA Association, Inc. offers four categories of membership:

    Regular
     Associate
     Student
     Lifetime

Eligibility for regular membership into the National Black MBA Association, Inc. requires you be a graduate of a Masters of Business Administration program or other advanced management degree program.

Associate membership status is available to business professionals and entrepreneurs with at least five years of management experience or three years of business ownership.

Student members must be enrolled in an MBA or other advanced management degree program such as: MS, MPA, MHA, JD, or Ph.D.

Lifetime members are those who make a special financial commitment to support the National Black MBA Association, Inc. Those who meet the criteria for Regular Membership and make a one-time payment of $1,000.00 are eligible.



NBMBAA Member Program Renewal Rates:

Full Membership status includes professionals with a graduate degree in any particular field (MBA, MHA, MPA, MS, MA, JD, etc.): $125/year

Associate Membership status includes professionals without a graduate degree but with extensive experience or entrepreneurial success: $125/year

Student Membership status includes students enrolled in any graduate degree program (a two-year limit). New/Renewing members need to submit evidence of matriculation into a graduate degree program (i.e. a copy of a current school ID card): $60/year (Limited to 2 years)

Lifetime Membership status is granted to any member who makes the financial commitment to the full or associate lifetime status: $1000 one-time payment or $350/year (for 3 years)
