"Preparing the Next Generation"

The
Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program aims to provide mentors and
resources to marginally academic performing high school students.
These students exhibit leadership potential but need exposure and
motivation in order to make good choices about college, their career
and their future. Targeted students include inner-city high
school youth with a grade point average between C- and C+ who have
demonstrated leadership potential. The Columbus Chapter
currently mentors over 30 students. is a High School mentoring program.
The
mission of the LOT program is to expand the cadre of
African-American students who enter college. The Columbus Chapter
implemented the program on April 27, 2002. Through monthly workshops
the program seeks to provide the students with the tools necessary
to be successful in their collegiate endeavors.
